What you will do

• Build and improve upon web apps and APIs used by millions of monthly users
• Work with product and design teams to rapidly build experimental products
• Build resilient job pipelines and keep them up and running
• Diagnose and mitigate scaling issues at the database and app levels
• Be primarily focused on the back end using tools like Postgres, Elixir, Node.js

Who you are

• You have 4+ years professional programming experience (in any language)
• You like to focus on the back end but are not afraid to dabble in the front end and have some familiarity with React/TypeScript
• You enjoy teaching and mentoring other engineers and bring new best practices to the table
• You care about quality and aspire to ship well-tested code
• You have some background in CS
• You are interested in or have experience with blockchains, crypto and web3

• Workday must overlap by at least 4 hours with San Francisco, CA, USA
• Must be a resident of United States
